The Chaffee Art Center welcomes kids and teens to explore all of our galleries, but we have created one with you in mind! CreativeStudioSpace has FREE open studio hours for kids and teens (see schedule below).

There are lots of art/craft activities to choose from including ard making, paper art, yarn art, clothespin art, drawing. Drop by on your own or with friends. There are puzzles and games. Plus, lots of books to read … complete with a comfy pillow area, as well as books from our Lending Library that include all forms of painting, crafting, famous artists and museums and more.

Thursday
Kids 11 & under — 12–2pm
Teens 12+ — 2–4pm

Friday
Kids 11 & under — 12–2pm
Teens 12+ — 2–4pm

Saturday
Teens 12+ — 11am–12:30pm
Kids 11 & under — 12:30–2pm

• Other times by appointment
• Calling ahead encouraged
• Note: On occasion, we have private functions during these times and the studio will not be available.

Rules for use:
 Please see Staff before using
 Clean up your workspace or area
 No food or drinks in the room
 Put all books and supplies back as found them
 Be respectful of others and the Chaffee Art Center
 Keep noise level to a minimum, often many classes are going on at the same time
 Bathrooms are on the first floor
 Those 8 years old and younger, need adult supervision in the room
