And there’s lots more holiday festivities happening at the Chaffee, including our Annual Gingerbread Contest that is coming up! All interested bakers, schools, organizations, businesses, families, individuals, and young people are invited to submit their imaginative gingerbread creations. Entries should pre-register. All entries must be delivered to the Chaffee Art Center on either Wednesday, Dec. 6, (3–5pm) OR Thursday, Dec. 7 (10am–Noon)…or by appointment. The gingerbread creations will be on display in our historic 1890’s mansion from the Gingerbread Showcase Reception on December 9th from Noon to 2pm until December 30th. We will award “People’s Choice” in various categories; visitors can vote for their favorite entry until December 30th. Complete details and entry form can be found on our website.
