Faces in Harmony Exhibit
The Chaffee Art Center, Your Center for Creativity, invites the community to the Opening Reception of our new Exhibit “FACES in Harmony” on Friday, Jan. 24, 5–7pm. Stop by this free event and enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles while you explore our 6 galleries and unique nooks and crannies filled with art!
The Exhibit title is the theme for the first floor galleries with work highlighting faces of people, animals, pets, and other images such as a building that resembles a face. Our middle gallery will feature The Peace Train, on the 4th stop of it’s journey, along with our Annual Photo Contest and Community Wall. Chaffee artist members’ work will fill the other main galleries. In addition, their work will be on display and for sale throughout the rest of the mansion and on the second floor, as well as in the Gallery Shoppe that is filled with handmade treasures and gift ideas for any occasion. Be sure to take time to explore the 1890’s architecture and history, plus vote on your favorite photo. AWARDS to be given: 1st and 2nd Overall; and a People’s Choice award in each category listed that the public gets to vote on until Feb. 28 when the Exhibit ends.
