Chaffee Annual Photo Contest

The Chaffee Art Center, Your Center for Creativity, invites the community to enter our Annual Photo Contest, FACES IN HARMONY.

Contest Guidelines:

Open to:  Amateur photographers, all ages welcome. NEW this year…a Professional Category.

DEADLINE JANUARY 18. Photos must be 8”x10”and taken by the person submitting this form.  Please mount/ frame photos. Unless marked NOT FOR SALE on application, all amateur photos submitted will be listed for sale at $40 with 50% of the sale paid to the photographer. Professionals receive 60% of sale price.

Photos in the theme “FACES in Harmony” preferred. Can be of humans, pets, animals, etc. to reflect the theme. Photo must not be staged or altered by photo editing software beyond, resizing/cropping accepted.

NO FEE FOR AMATEURS TO SUBMIT PHOTOS.  
Professional Category (Chaffee Members) — FREE;
Professional Photographers — $5 per entry up to 3.  

Limit of 3 photos per person, please prioritize photos in order of preference. Due to limited space all submitted photos are not guaranteed to be hung. Preference will be given to number 1 photos. The contest organizers reserve the right to select photos for the contest. Please attach an entry slip to each photo giving name, age, title, email, phone.  Any photos that are unsold/remaining must be picked up on February 28, 2025 (11am-4pm) or will become property of Chaffee Art Center.

Dates to Remember:

-Submission Drop-off: January 17th from Noon to 4pm and January 18th from 11am to 2pm.
— Exhibit opens & public voting begins: January 24th  
— Artwork Pick-up: February 28th, 11am to 4pm.

AWARDS GIVEN TO:
1st and 2nd Overall.  Plus, a People’s Choice award in each category below where the public gets to vote on their favorite until February 28th.

Youth 12 & under, Teen 13-18, Adult 18+, and NEW: Professional Category
