Call to Textile Artists

The Chaffee Art Center is excited to announce that our next Exhibit will feature Textile Art!  The Exhibit will be from September 16th to October 22nd. The Opening Reception will be on September 16th from 5pm to 7pm.

We invite Textile Artists to submit up to 3 images of their work for consideration. If accepted, the fee is $25 for non-members, free for Chaffee juried artist members. Deadline September 8th by noon.

There are opportunities for featured gallery space and featured wall space. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

Textiles include: knitting, crocheting, quilting, macramé, needle point, embroidery, weaving/loom, basket weaving, sewing, felting, rug making.

We will also have an “enthusiast” space dedicated to those that are just starting out and including young people. Those interested, should submit one image of the piece they would like in the exhibit for approval.  Deadline September 8th by noon.

Additionally, Chaffee juried artist members will have their work throughout the mansion. They can submit up to 3 pieces. The work shown does not have to reflect Textile Art. 

Drop off is September 9th from Noon to 4pm, and September 10th from 10am to 2pm.
