Chaffee Annual Student Exhibit March 8–April 4
Just wanted to announce our Annual Student Exhibit dates for your planning purposes. Can’t believe we have been showcasing student art with a special Exhibit since the 1970s and it’s still happening today … thanks to all of you!
2025 Annual Student Exhibit
“An Artful Adventure”
March 8 to April 4
STUDENT SHOW DETAILS:
Title: “An Artful Adventure”
The Chaffee Art Center is proud to again showcase young artists from dozens of Vermont schools and homeschoolers for this Annual Student Exhibit. We take great pleasure in creating an opportunity for these talented young people to be inspired by seeing their artwork, and the works of others, displayed in a professional gallery in our historic 1890’s mansion.
Entries in all of the arts are encouraged (art medium, theater, culinary, poetry, music, and more). Multiple departments within a school are encouraged to join together. We are proud that this Annual Exhibit experiences very high attendance, and your participation adds greatly to its success. Please HELP SPREAD THE WORD TO ALL SCHOOLS!
2025 RULES FOR ENTRY

Exhibition Fee: FREE
(Note: Free this year due to a grant Chaffee applied for and received funding! Normally $40 per school, and $5 fee per participating Home School Student.) We encourage multiple departments within a school to join together.
Specifics:
• No more than one piece per student. (This includes small group projects.)
• A group or class may submit a group piece. We appreciate advance notice.
• Work must be original.
• Please label each piece with artist’s name, age/grade, school, title, medium, and price if it is for sale. A 2×3” card makes an attractive presentation.
• Each school MUST provide an inventory sheet of all submitted art works. This should contain the name, title, and medium of piece.
• We often receive requests to purchase student work. Please discuss with your students the possibility of selling.
• Permission forms are included in your packet to be copied and signed by each participating student. One must accompany each piece of student work as we must have a release on file to consider using their piece for the media or in Chaffee promotional materials, and if they decide to make their artwork available for sale.
• If you and your students wish for their artwork to be considered for use in marketing and on printed materials, please send digital files along with permission form to [email protected] no later than Feb. 8 by 4pm (sooner would be greatly appreciated).
