VOLUNTEERING AT THE CHAFFEE

Whatever your skills, interest or time availability, chances are there is a volunteer opportunity just right for you at the Chaffee Art Center. The Chaffee hosts events and programs year-round, many on evenings and weekends. For “behind-the-scenes” volunteer positions and internships, we ask for a commitment of at least two months of regular involvement. Special events, opening receptions and one-time opportunities we do not require such a time commitment.

Community Volunteers: Join Us!
As a Chaffee Art Center volunteer, you will have the opportunity to meet new friends, build professional relationships, or learn a new skill while contributing to a great cause. Most importantly, however, you will have the satisfaction that comes with supporting the Chaffee and the Rutland Area Art Association in its mission to make the visual arts an integral part of our community and region.

Here are a few ways we use volunteers:

• Gallery greeters
• Art in the Park Gate Greeters
• Set up and clean up for a reception
• Stuffing envelopes for a bulk mailing
• Sticking address labels to announcement postcards
• Hanging posters around town
